Railway Operations Live is an interactive 2 day course that offers a glimpse into a day in the life of a railway crew member. It covers topics including: safety standards, applying the Canadian Railway Operating Rules (CROR), rail car and tank car design, train make up and inspections, locomotive operation, and switching demonstrations. This is an introductory program in Canadian railway operations designed and delivered for the RAC by the Canadian Heartland Training Railway.
Participants will have the opportunity to safely switch cars and build a train as part of the hands on training experience at a real railway environment. Instructors are active in the North American railway industry and draw upon years of experience to offer program participants an informative view of the industry.Course Dates: June 15-16, August 24-25, August 26-27
Course Fee: $975 per person
