Regulations in Alberta and BC require that industrial railway employees be requalified once in every three years. This is a two part process:
- A test of knowledge to verify retention and currency of information applicable to the role of the employee, and
- A performance assessment by a qualified person to verify the employee can perform the tasks correctly.
This course addresses the knowledge test component by means of a review of the applicable subject matter and relevant tests. This is generally a one day session.
